Thank you for joining us at our Importance of Women in IT virtual July event with Kirryn Zerna.

Kirryn provided us with very relevant and practical tips to help us not only understand the power of online influence but more importantly, how we can amplify our own.

What is influence & what does it really mean?
“Influence is the capacity or power of persons or things to be a compelling force on or produce effects actions, behaviour opinions etc. of others”

Technology has changed how we fundamentally consume information and communicate with each other. Depending on your audience, LinkedIn can be a powerful platform to elevate your influence as a #Leader to help demonstrate your authenticity, power and potential.

How can you influence?

  • Understand who you are as a brand
  • What is UNIQUE about you?
  • Who is your unique Audience?
  • Cultivate meaningful Connections
  • What are you going to say? What is your valuable contribution?
  • Set up a system - post frequently & meaningfully!

Again, thank you to ANZ for sponsoring this event.

Today your LinkedIn profile can be as powerful as a business card, coffee meeting and website all rolled into one. It’s often the first thing that’s checked when applying for a job, meeting a new client, seeing a speaker at an event, or meeting a new leader.

We’ve embarked on a new age of online influence, so how do you seize the opportunity to amplify your brand and reputation?

The combination of Internet, social media and rapid technological advances has created a shift in the influencers who persuade our opinions and daily lives. It’s no longer just the marketing department promoting a brand, its people are too. Today, it’s vitally important to empower people to create a sharp, consistent and compelling brand presence on digital channels, with a predominant focus on LinkedIn.

This session will be inspiring and practical with tips and tools you can immediately apply to amplify your online influence.
